Medicare Medicare

Medigap

Original Medicare pays for many, but not all, health care services and supplies. A Medigap policy can help pay some of the health care costs (“gaps”) that Original Medicare doesn’t cover, like copayments, coinsurance and deductibles.

HealthNow New York’s Medicare Supplemental Insurance (Medigap) offers:

  • Low premium plan options
  • Coverage across the country
  • No referrals
  • Most plans include no copays for Medicare-covered services
  • Multiple plan options to fit your needs

If you are in a Medicare MSA Plan, a Medigap policy won’t cover any part of your deductible. Also, if you are in a Medicare MSA Plan, it’s illegal for anyone to sell you a Medigap policy.

To enroll, open and complete a Medigap enrollment form and return it to the address on the form.
